If it was possible to give negative, I would have given that. They cheated with us in every step of the process.

Step 1: at the time of estimation, they did a video tour of the entire house, and the quotation given was of 3500-4000 usd for our shipment from US to India. I understand that final amount could be slightly more than that (10-20%), but when they came for pick up the quotation shared was 7200 and ofcourse I had no choice as I couldn't get anyone else at the last moment and they made full use of it by extorting us.

Step 2: The person they sent in the US, kept packing the stuff without bubble wrap and we kept requesting that we have paid for bubble wrap and hence please do it so that our delicate stuff and crockery doesnt break. But they didnt listen and even left few stuff as they left in hurry.

Step 3: Then they assured that our left stuff will be picked up and will be repacked and leave US by end of December before we leave from US. We kept asking that when is it leaving and then they suddenly had man power shortage and due to which our shipment didn't leave before we left again inspite of repeated assurance that our shipment will leave US before we leave from there. Finally, it left 1 month later than it's earlier scheduled date.

Step 4: we were assured they will repack the stuff again so that it doesn't break when it gets delivered to us. But the poor experience continued, and when we received the item in India, everything that could be broken was broken. Bed, dresser, coffee table, crockery, suitcase etc. I will share the photo as well.

Step 5: when I complained with evidence about it, they said you have taken a basic insurance package and our team will get back. And it's been a month since I kept writing to them, and like they have been doing, they are not sharing any timeline of the damage compensation.

The reason I am sharing this is that no one else face this problem that I face by using their service.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7225

I needed to send a document to India. But quickly realized, shipping charges were outrageous at all the major providers. USPS charges wards of $48+ for a 7-10 business days delivery and its express services can cost in upwards of over $150. UPS and FEDEX were even more pricier. Cheapest option directly with FedEx was a whopping $108.

Then i stumbled upon SFL on google, and god i was glad!

I quickly tried thier quote and surprisingly they offered me FedEx 3 days delivery service for a mere $38.61.

They sent me shipment label, all i had to do was drop the envelope at any FedEx location. The document was delivered like promised in 3 business days. Very happy with the service.

My experience with SFL Worldwide has left me deeply troubled and profoundly disappointed. I entrusted them with shipping my valuable goods, only to have them allegedly stolen while in their possession.

The package I sent contained costly electronics items in 1 box and some household goods in 2nd box of significant personal and monetary value. Despite taking all necessary precautions and following proper shipping procedures, 1 package having electronic goods was mysteriously disappeared en route within the distance of 31 miles and later was claimed to be lost while the other box with household goods like clothes and toys (with lower cost) was delivered successfully.

What's particularly distressing is the lack of accountability and transparency from SFL worldwide. When I contacted their customer service to inquire about the whereabouts of my package, I was met with evasive responses and a complete unwillingness to investigate the matter further.

While I understand that accidents can happen during the shipping process, the apparent theft of my goods is an egregious violation of trust. I find it deeply troubling that a company entrusted with handling valuable shipments would fail to ensure their security.

I strongly urge anyone considering using SFL worldwide to think 1000 times. Trusting them with your valuable possessions is a risk I wouldn't recommend taking. Later they would offer $30 after stealing $800 worth goods and write an apology. Further disrespectful is to receive a mail to release that $30 by asking for an underwriting that the issue will not be reported anywhere neither shall it be posted on social media. I cannot in good conscience recommend their services. If anyone needs a details on this fraud I can provide the entire documentation related to stealing of goods.

Further i can even say that most of the positive reviews are paid and they have a dedicated team to maintain good reviews. Also i could understand that there are many people who had went through this trauma.

Don't trust this company, Please don't use their service. They will be very nice and polite while booking the service I myself reviewed before over here you can check my reviews in feb, but it is completely opposite in the receiving end. Now I feel like giving negative stars but I couldn't find negative starts so gave 1 star.

If you are planning use this shipping company I would suggest please donate the items or sell it, because it worth rather that paying for shipment and breaking your head to track your missing items or spending more money to repair the broken items.

I sent in package to India during Feb 2023 via SFL, I received after 6 months which was originally promised before 90-120 days from shipment also that happened with continuously contacting them and tracking.

However, finally received the package with a broken TV and the sound bar was totally missing. the pain is to track and explaining to them, They are highly unresponsive for emails, either they respond as if they are working on the issue and delay the process or they wont respond at all. And If I contact customer service over phone they would be very rude. Once the payment is all done they are least bothered about the package or the customer, very unprofessional and worst after service communication.

We used SFL Worldwide in October 2013 to move from our 2 bedroom apartment to our new house in Plano Texas. We also had storage unit we had to pickup items and deliver to our new house. We found SFL worldwide online and heard feedback from our friends. We contacted SFL via phone and good complete understanding on pricing and their full service move. We hired 3 men and 26ft truck, move was support to start at 8:00 AM; crew arrived around 8:30 and move lasted for 5 hours from start to end. Crew was very professional and took time to understand what we need to move and what needed to stay back. Movers very experienced and knew how to pack our fragile goods. Over all I am very satisfied with service provided and would use them again when needed.  .

Service cost: $425

I had used the services of SFLWorldwide multiple times for movement within the US, and my last one was for a relocation from the US to India.
My experience with the staff was a friendly one. However, the packages that were shipped to my destinations in all the occasions arrived damaged. I had notified the staff about it, and no action was taken to replace the third-party vendors that they use to transport the packages. You would ask me why am I writing the review now and not earlier; this is because my last shipment from the US to India came in damaged. All of my boxes that were shipped came in as cylindrical so you could imagine what happened to the boxes. Yep, that is right these were tossed around by the Fed-Ex/Spoton Courier personnel that came collect/deliver it from/to my home in the US/India, and I was pretty disappointed watching them tossing it without any care. You spend hrs, days and loads of money to get the things packed and these ppl do not even care to move the boxes with care.
Coming to the contents of my boxes, nothing to say but I had some of my glassware and other items damaged to the extent that it cannot be used.
If you can pack your stuff in iron boxes then I would recommend SFLWorldwide; otherwise, consider your stuff was reaching your destination in pieces.

I recently moved from Dubai to San Antonio, Texas. My company in Dubai hired SFL Worldwide to take care of custom clearance and provide unloading and unpacking services. My job was completed this weekend and I was extremely happy with the services I have received in Dubai and in San Antonio. Office staff from Dallas office was very friendly and helpful to complete all customs formalities. Guys who came to unload and unpack were professional and did great job. Thanks making my move stress free.

I had an international move from Bangalore to Houston and my India company partnered with them for the US customs and delivery. Everything was paid 100% upfront and when time came to deliver they started using pressure tactics to ask for more. After paying 100$ more than the original amount, the delivered but are now asking for 300$ to fully finish the work already agreed upon in the written and signed agreement.

Avoid using them at all. I am still waiting for a refund of 300$ for not finishing the assembly of furniture.

Is there a zero star? I shipped 40 boxes to India from USA. They took more than 5 months to deliver. 3 boxes were missing and got 1 box of someone else. It is been more than two weeks since the delivery and they are not even picking up the wrongly delivered boxes. Their customer care is useless. In India, only one person is available to talk. he is rude and not fit for customer care. To trace the missing box, you need to reach out to Claims team which is available over Email only and work only on Texas time zone. so whatever you ask in Email (or) how many times you try to send Email, they will reply only at their leisure. They are bossy and treat you as if you are begging something from them. I would never ever suggest anyone to go with them. oh yeah, I forgot...I also got some of my items damaged which I am not concerned right now and focused on getting my 3 boxes

Originally, I have moved with different moving company but due to poor communication and last-minute cancellation they had left me stranded. I was looking for any moving company who can take my goods to India on set day as I had to leave for India next day. SFL came to rescue and luckily, they where able to fit me in their schedule.

I had 12 boxes and 1 Tv to shipped and SFL arranged next day pickup via FedEx. FedEx arrived around noon and picked up all my boxes. SFL worldwide keep me posted with my shipemnt movement and provided me estimated time around 3 months for delivery. After reaching India I contact their office in Ahmedabad and they kept me updated on container arrival and delivery schedule. I got my shipment close to 4 months from shipment which as no big deal as they told up front it will take around 3-4 months. They moved everything without a ding, scratch, or breakage... especially our big flat screen TVs. I am surely recommending them for anyone moving oversea.

SFL shipping and moving is fantastic in paying attention to details and perform speedy service for our long distance move. They provided upfront an honest pricing which was very competitive in market. The company was the perfect fit for my requirement where they send right size of truck and 3 crew to implement the move. I had most of my boxes packed and they blanket wrapped all my furniture. Last minute I was not able to find my TV box and one of the crew members ran to their warehouse to pick up TV box for the move. They office provided additional support and answers to my questions whenever needed. I will be sure and excited to share my experience with my friends and family for interstate moves.

Don not use SFL world wide shipping company. This is a very unprofessional company, You will get the worst customer service and after sales service. I sent my 4 big packages for Christmas to Mizoram, India , they haven't received yet since over last two months. I keep calling and never get response. They charged extra cost which already fixed the price. It won't be able to trace it for 2 months ready .I did this mistake by shipping my package with this company please who is reading this don't use this company for any shipping needs. We are shipping clothing's and personal use for refugee families in MIzoram. We are really upset . I will report again in consumer report. They can't do business which they can't handle. I pay $1800 over this service. I need my all stuff back. They actually doing nothing and don't care the customer. They not take responsibility what they have promised. If this shipping packages not go to my destination I will keep report every where. We are really really upset now.

Very impressive.

Everything was so easy and straight forward as It’s been 2 years we’ve been searching for a best courier company to deliver our Mural Painting from India to the US and luckily found SFL.

The prices are very much affordable compared to other courier companies.

Honestly the service was really good as the carrier followed my instructions well during the process. I really appreciated the quality of service.

I was really satisfied with the overall service provided by SFL. Initially I was hesitant a little bit because of some reviews that the package might take a really long time to get delivered but my experience was completely different. I was able to ship the package hassle free and it reached the destination within a matter of few days. I would highly recommend SFL to anyone who is looking to internationally ship packages at a lower cost but in a reliable setting.

Excellent customer service. I sent 50 boxes that includes sofas, TVs and house hold items. All my boxes were wrapped in plastics wrapping by SFL, nothing was stollen. Shipment reached on time but service in India needs improvement. I had to unload boxes myself. Delivery in India was delayed .Some glassware did break. Pack glassware and TV properly to avoid damage. Home packed TV broke but factory packed was fine. I greatly recommend Mr. Punit 972-295-9019 and Amit Shah in NJ. 973-567-1947. My second shipment of 26 boxes is arriving Jan 2024. I DO RECOMMEND NOT TO BRING TV OR AMERICAN APPLIANCE to India. I had to buy transformer to convert voltage which is a big hassle .Raksha Naik

This post is for those people who are considering SFL as their service provider for transport of their household goods.

I used this company to transport my belongings from Dallas area to Mumbai this year. Before you make a decision of your own, this is what you should know about so your expectations are right.

1- SFL states that they provide the service from Door to Door, but you should not get carried away by that. It only means that they will get a company to get the goods from your place, and use a company to deliver goods to your destination place. Between these two, most of the activities are beyond their control. For example, if you ask them reason for delay, they will mention that it is the shipping company that decides this. They basically use the cheapest shipping service. You can not plan anything based on that.

2- They oversell: When the sales person will contact you, he will state that there is no backlog currently, and we will get everything to your door within 2 to 3 months. In my case, i was told that my goods will leave Houston harbor on the 17th of March. In reality, they kept it at the port and it left in April. Again, I was told that it was Shipping Line which decides the dates. In fact, for everything, they keep on putting the responsibility on some other party.

3- They lost part of my shipment. Worst of all, in order to pay compensation, they ask the client to give an undertaking that he/she will not go to social media and write about them! For no fault of the customer. The pot calling the kettle black.

4- When I told them that their customer service was pathetic, they started pointing me to the contract! Wow. I had planned my international travel with sufficient margin based on estimate at the time of booking, which I had to cancel. But they have no empathy for customer's situation.

5- Beware - when the boxes were dispatched to the destination address, their delivery company started asking me money! I told them I had paid for Door to Door delivery. I got calls repeatedly from them and was told to pay money! I was shocked. I told SFL representative that they can, in fact, pay to their vendor. Eventually, they did not pay to the vendor. I kept on getting calls from the vendor the entire day.

6- They do not update any status on their website. When you contact them, they will reply and then change the status on their website.

If you want to escalate or talk to someone responsible, they give the email ID of some Mr Shah, who seems to be a non-existent entity. He never bothers to reply to any mail giving a feeling that he cares a damn about you being a customer.

7- After the goods were cleared in customs in Mumbai, they took more than 2 weeks to deliver goods to another address in Mumbai. I was told they were having "connectivity issues". I asked them that the only business SFL is in is moving goods, and they are having issues with that business!

So overall, bad selling, no responsibility on their side, delays at the port of origin, transit and delivery, loss of goods, pathetic customer service, no link to any responsible person and no empathy regarding customer's situation. If you can take a risk with your goods and want to bang your head following up with them, then sure, use them.
